EMU: Annual CPI steady at 0.4% in August

FXStreet (Łódź) - According to data released today by Eurostat, Eurozone annual inflation remained at 0.4% in August, against expectations of a slide to 0.3%. On a monthly basis CPI rose 0.1% in August, compared with the 0.7% drop in July, as expected.

Year-over-year CPI-Core climbed to 0.9% in August, from 0.8% in July, in line with consensus.
