EUR/GBP climbs to 3-week highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The euro is rising for the third day in a row against the pound, extending the recovery from 2-year lows. EUR/GBP gained momentum after the beginning of the American session and climbed from 0.7868 to 0.7896, the strongest level since September 18.

Price holds near the highs and the 0.7900 area, with a bullish tone. From last week lows it has risen more than a hundred pips and posted gains on four out of the last five trading days.

Cable has been the weakest among european currencies since Monday while the euro, is the opposite and rose algo again the Swiss franc.
