UK: Annual CPI growth slows down to 1.2% in September
FXStreet (Łódź) - According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation slid to 1.2% in September from 1.5% growth registered the previous month. This result is below analysts' forecasts of a slowdown to 1.4%. On a monthly basis CPI remained flat, after in increasing 0.4%, against expectations of +0.2%.
Core CPI fell to 1.5% in September from 1.9% in August, below consensus of a decline to 1.8%.
