USD/CHF makes new low for the day
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF took a step lower and printed a fresh daily low as the dollar remains under mild pressure in a quiet, uneventful session.
USD/CHF pushed lower and made a marginal new low of 0.9573 in recent dealings, moving in tandem with EUR/USD that stretched to fresh daily highs. At time of writing, USD/CHF is trading at 0.9580, recording a 0.70% loss on the day.
At the same time, EUR/CHF fell to 1.2008, matching last week’s multi-year lows and continues to trade dangerously close to SNB floor of 1.2000.
USD/CHF technical levels
As for technical levels, USD/CHF could find immediate supports at 0.9552 (Nov 17 low) and 0.9519 (50-day SMA) ahead of 0.9500 (psychological level). On the other hand, resistances are seen at 0.9600 (psychological level/20-day SMA), 0.9653 (Nov 18 high) and 0.9688 (Nov 14 high).
