Flash: USD seen stronger in coming months - UBS

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Over the last two months, the USD gained against the majority of currencies, according to the UBS team.

"Better economic data raised the expectation the US Fed could start tapering off its current asset purchases earlier than expected", they say. "In recent days, however, US data was on the weaker side, which was one of the reasons for the USD slide across the board on Thursday. After Friday's better than expected employment data the USD regained some lost territory. We continue to see the USD stronger in coming months".

EUR/USD records third weekly gain in a row

Following an impressive rally on Thursday and only a mild pullback after the NFP report, EUR/USD is set to close the week above 1.3200.
