Flash: Watch for small improvement in UK unemployment - Societe Generale
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Kit Juckes, Global Head of Currency Strategy notes that the big UK data comes with unemployment on Wednesday.
He writes, “We’re looking for another very small fall in the unemployment rate. After recent stronger figures, that would keep the mood positive. Check the chart below of composite PMIs which is moving the UK’s way. Long GBP/CHF and short EUR/GBP are trades I like even if they haven’t done too much yet. Long 10yr or 30yr Gilts vs. Treasuries is another trade I like here.”
