EUR/AUD hits fresh Seven-Week Low

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The single currency continued its slide against the Australian dollar from the previous week, largely on the Aussie strength.

Currently, the EUR/AUD cross trades at 1.4385 levels, down -0.37% on the day, having posted a fresh seven-week low at 1.4380 levels few minutes ago. The EUR/AUD cross remains pressured largely as the Aussie started the week higher against the US dollar on cheerful Australian jobs advertising data and also on solid gains seen in precious metals. The EUR/AUD cross is likely to remain lower taking cues from the Aussie, in absence of any Euro zone data later in the day.

EUR/AUD Technical Levels

The pair has an immediate resistance at 1.4446 (Today’s High) levels, above which gains could be extended to 1.45 levels. On the flip side, support is seen at 1.4362 levels, from here it to 1.4334 levels.

NZD/USD hits fresh daily highs, eyes 0.79 handle

The New Zealand dollar climbed higher against the US counterpart in the Asian morning, as the USD bulls took a backseat on weak wage pressure data released in the US last Friday.
