EMU: Consumer Confidence up to -18.8 in June, as expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -18.8 in June, from -21.9 in May, the European Commission reported on Thursday. This result is in line with market consensus.

Eurozone Business Climate rose to -0.68 in June, from -0.75 in May, below expectations of increasing to -0.65.

The Economic Sentiment Indicator grew to 91.3 from 89.5 and above forecasts of rising to 90.3.

Industrial Confidence decline slowed down from -13 to -11.2, above expectations of -12.4. Services Sentiment dropped to -9.5 from -9.2 and against market consensus of rising to -8.8.
