AUD/USD advances to fresh daily highs
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD has moved a touch higher at the beginning of the American session, printing a fresh high for the day.
AUD/USD peeps above 0.9100
The USD has weakened a tad further as American traders join in, with AUD/USD pushing briefly above 0.9100 to score a high of 0.9103 so far. At time of writing, AUD/USD holds around 0.9100, where it is 0.6% above its opening price.
In terms of technical levels, immediate resistances could be faced at 0.9110 (100-hour SMA) and 0.9180 (Jul 5 high). On the flip side, supports are seen at the 0.9040/35 zone (Jul 5 & 8 lows) ahead of 0.9000 (psychological level).
With the US calendar clear for the rest of the day and markets entering in summer mode, momentum may lack.
