Fed's Duke resigns and will leave office on August 31

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The Federal Reserve Governor Elizabeth Duke has delivered its resignation letter on Thursday with effective date as August 31.

A not hugely influential FOMC member, Duke's resignation was expected as her term on the Federal Reserve expired officially a one and a half year ago in January 2012.
