USD/CAD attention to the US calendar
While the pair remains on the downside from last week’s multi-year peaks near 1.2850, market participants keep their focus on today’s US Durable Goods Orders in order to determine a clearer trend for the greenback in the near term.
On the Canadian side, the attention today gyrates around the speech by BoC’s Timothy Lane ahead of tomorrow’s speech by Governor Stephen Poloz.
