The pair is retreating for the second consecutive session so far, this time dragged lower after Consumer Confidence in the Mexican economy advanced to 93.1 during March vs. 90.3 from the previous month.

In addition, the greenback is losing ground across the board, collaborating with today’s downbeat sentiment around the pair, at least until the FOMC minutes due later.

USD/MXN levels to watch

The pair is now losing 0.59% at 14.8444 with the immediate support at 14.7692 (low Apr.3) ahead of 14.7568 (low Apr.6) and finally 14.7303 (low Feb.6). On the flip side, a breakout of 15.0348 (high Apr.3) would expose 15.1603 (high Apr.2) and then 15.3337 (high Apr.1).
