LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of base metals viz. Zinc and Aluminium. While Copper, Nickel and Lead inventories witnessed a built-up.

Copper stocks increased by 750 tonnes. While Nickel and lead stocks added 984 tonnes and 850 tonnes respectively. On the contrary, Aluminium inventories subtracted 6250 tonnes. While stock levels of zinc deducted 2650 tonnes.

USD/JPY retreats from 119.42

USD/JPY retreated to the familiar range after a brief spike to fresh session highs in the mid-European session, after the yen dipped to lows versus the greenback on reports that Fitch downgraded Japan’s rating to 'A' from 'A+, keeping the country’s outlook as stable.
