AUD/USD stalls ahead of 0.9100
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD stretched to fresh daily highs but stalled just ahead the 0.9100 psychological data, as the greenback weakened further after US claims data.
AUD/USD gains 1.0% on the day
AUD/USD climbed to a new 9-day high of 0.9096 in recent dealings but lacked enough momentum to overcome the 0.9100 level and pulled back slightly. At time of writing, AUD/USD is trading around 0.9080/85, where it is still up 1.0% on the day.
AUD/USD technical levels
As for technical levels, immediate resistances are seen at 0.9100 (psychological level) and 0.9115 (20-day SMA). On the other hand, supports are seen at 0.9040 (intraday level), 0.9000 (psychological level) and 0.8970 (daily low).
