ECB raises ELA ceiling by €900 million

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The European Central Bank has raised the Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA) for Greek banks by €900 million on Wednesday, Bloomberg reports.

The ELA cap is now around €90.4 billion. Greek banks will remain open as long as the ECB keeps providing emergency funds, while the third bailout programme is approved.
