UK: Annual Industrial Production slides 1.6% in July
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Year-over-year UK Industrial Production fell by 1.6% in July, compared with a 1.4% increase in June, National Statistics informed today. This is almost in line with forecasts of a 1.7% decrease. UK Industrial Production remained unchanged between June 2013 and July 2013, following a 1.3% rise registered between May 2013 and June 2013 and against expectations of a 0.1% increase.
On an annual basis UK Manufacturing Production fell by 0.7% in July, after growing 2.1% in June and slightly above expectations of a 0.8% decline. Between June 2013 and July 2013 UK Manufacturing Production rose 0.2%, down from the 2% rise between May 2013 and June 2013 and below market consensus of 0.3% growth.
On an annual basis UK Manufacturing Production fell by 0.7% in July, after growing 2.1% in June and slightly above expectations of a 0.8% decline. Between June 2013 and July 2013 UK Manufacturing Production rose 0.2%, down from the 2% rise between May 2013 and June 2013 and below market consensus of 0.3% growth.
