AUD/USD breaks 0.9400, hits fresh lows
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD came under pressure and dropped below the 0.9400 mark Tuesday, erasing previous day's gains on its way to fresh lows.
AUD/USD fell to a low of 0.9372 during the European session as dollar buying intensified following disappointing Eurozone and UK data. However, the AUD/USD found support at the 10-day SMA and bounced from lows in recent dealings.
AUD/USD levels to watch
At time of writing, AUD/USD is trading at the 0.9380 zone, still 0.5% below its opening price. If AUD/USD breaks decisively below the 0.9370 zone, next supports could be found at the 0.9335/30 zone (Sep 18 low/100-day SMA) and 0.9300 (psychological level), while on the flip side, resistances are now seen at 0.9430 (100-hour SMA) and 0.9456 (Sep 19 & 23 highs).
