Flash: Yen selling ramps up - Nomura

FXstreet.com (London) - Strategist, Yujiro Goto, at Nomura noted heavy selling of the Yen.

“Japanese investors are estimated to have sold JPY75bn (USD750mn) of foreign currency-denominated toshins last week”.

“This is the biggest weekly net selling since the end of July. Retail investors were net sellers of foreign securities via toshins in August, for the first time in two months, and the momentum remains weak in September”.
