Germany: CPI climbs 1.4% in September
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Destatis, German inflation rose 1.4% in September, following 1.5% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On an annual basis German CPI remained unchanged for the second running month in September, as expected.
Year-over-year German HICP rose 1.6% in September, after growing 1.6% in August. On a monthly basis HICP remained flat for the second consecutive month. These results are in line with consensus.
