UK will remain out of the EU banking union – BoE’s Cunliffe
Sir Jon Cunliffe, Deputy Governor of the BoE for Financial Stability, expects the UK to remain out of the EU banking union, saying it is undesirable for accountability reasons.
Cunliffe also added that EU bank resolution is unable to deal with cross border bank failure.
