USD/CHF takes-out hourly 50-SMA, testing 0.9750
The USD/CHF pair struggles to extend its recovery mode beyond 0.9750 region and consolidates in a 20-pips range over the last hours.
USD/CHF defends gains amid risk-aversion
Currently, the USD/CHF pair trades 0.21% higher at 0.9746, bouncing-off session lows struck at 0.9724. The US dollar manages to regain lost footing versus its Swiss rival in the early European trades as the underlying risk-off market tone keep the safe-haven CHF underpinned and therefore, caps the upside in USD/CHF.

To the upside, the next resistance is located 0.9800/11 (round number/ 200-DMA) and above which it could extend gains to 0.9880/87 (10-DMA/ Feb 9 High). To the downside, immediate support might be located at 0.9700 (round number) and below that 0.9667/50 (daily S1/ psychological levels).
