China keeps gold reserves steady at 58.14 mln troy ounces in May - Rtrs

China's gold reserves remained steady at 58.14 million fine troy ounces at the end of May, from the end of April, the PBOC said on Tuesday, Reuters reports.

China began updating its reserve figures on a monthly basis in June 2015. Prior to that, the reserve figures had not been updated regularly.
