USD/JPY managed to climb to a high of 102.91 from 102.20 on the off when the release of positive news hit the wires in the form of NFP’s and the Unemployment report.

US: Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index grows to 82.5 in August

The US Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index rose to 82.5 in December, from 75.1 recorded the previous month, according to preliminary data released by Reuters/University of Michigan. Analysts expected a slight increase to 76.0.
