US: Producer price index drops 0.1% in November
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - US Producer prices contracted 0.1% in November, the Labor Department reported Friday.
This reading missed expectations of a flat reading but came in October's 0.2% decline.
Over the twelve months to November, prices rose 0.7% slightly below the 0.8% rise expected but above the 0.3% increase seen the previous month. Ex food and energy, prices rose 0.1% MoM and 1.3% YoY, vs. the median at 0.1% and 1.4% respectively.
