AUD/USD holds up above 0.7600

AUD/USD edged lower on Friday, as the greenback continued to take back some of its post-FOMC meeting losses, while volatility decreases heading into the weekend.   

AUD/USD pulled back from the 0.7675 area but the downside was contained ahead of the 0.76 mark, confining the pair to a tight range. At time of writing, AUD/USD was at 0.7620, down 1.4% on the day, but still headed for its first gain in three weeks.

AUD/USD levels to watch

As for technical levels, immediate resistances are seen at 0.7674 (Sep 22 high), 0.7697/0.7700 (Sep 7 high/psychological level), 0.7731 (Sep 8 high) and 0.7759 (Aug 11 high). On the other hand, supports are seen at 0.7604/00 (Sep 22 low/psychological level), 0.7580 (50-day SMA) and 0.7547 (10-day SMA).
