Gold breaks above $ 1300, risk-off at full steam on Trump lead
Gold is seen regaining lost footing and jumps above $ 1300 mark as risk-off persists in full swing amid renewed jitters as Trump takes the lead in most states, increasing odds for a full-blown electoral win.
The yellow-metal is also heading higher on sharp sell-off in the US dollar across the board, with the USD index now sinking -0.73% to 97.10 levels, fresh 3-day troughs.
As of writing, gold trades at $ 1304, up +2.28% on the day, finally having staged a convincing break above 1300 levels.
