Fed remains wary of a potential bubble – FOMC’s Bullard
At his speech today, James Bullard, Governor of the St. Louis Fed, said rising inflation expectations is a good sign, while noted the Fed remains vigilant on a potential bubble in the US economy.
Bullard also argued that surprises relative to market expectations are the main causes of problems in monetary policy.
He also deemed the debate on immigration and trade as slow moving issues.
