EMU: Consumer Confidence improves to -13.6 in December, as expected
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -13.6 in December, from -15.4 in November, the European Commission reported on Thursday. This result is in line with market consensus.
Eurozone Business Climate fell to 0.27 in December, from 0.31 in November, above expectations of a decrease to 0.22.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator grew to 100 from 98.4 and above forecasts of increasing to 99.1.
Industrial Confidence decline slowed down from -3.9 to -3.4, below expectations of -3.0. Services Sentiment rose to 0.2 from -0.9 and above market consensus of an increase to -0.5.
