US factory orders drop 2.4% in November

New orders for manufactured goods fell 2.4% in November, Commerce Department said Friday. Expectations were for a more modest decline of 2.2% after a 2.8% rise in October. Compared to a year ago, orders were down 1.8%.

From January to November 2016, orders are down 1.8% from the same period a year earlier, and business investment is down 3.8%.
