Germany: Annual CPI rises 1.4% in December
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Destatis, German annual inflation rose 1.4% in December, following 1.3% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis German CPI increased 0.4%, after rising 0.2%, as expected.
Year-over-year German HICP grew 1.2% in December, down from 1.6% in November. On a monthly basis HICP ticked up 0.5%, following a 0.2% rise.
