Eurozone flash CPI softens in March, misses expectations

According to Eurostat’s flash reading of Eurozone CPI report, the annual reading came in way softer at 1.5% in March, missing consensus forecast of 1.8% and 2.0% last. While, the core figures dropped for the first time in three months, arriving at 0.7% versus 0.9% last. Markets had predicted the core figures to remain steady at 0.9% this month.
