Analysts at Nomura offered their projections for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 370 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8982 from 6.8612) and 79 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8903. The basket implied change is 93 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8996 from 6.8903)."
