Germany prepares third Greek bailout
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Germany is preparing another bailout - the third - for Greece, worth between €10bn and €20bn, the Der Spiegel magazine notes.
In anticipation of a projected financing shortfall of more than €15bn in the next two years, Germany has been working on a rescue package, which as usual, will come attached with strict austerity measures.
A position paper put together by Germany's finance ministry was leaked by the German weekly Der Spiegel. However, Wolfgang Schäuble, in an interview to the German finance magazine Wirtschaftswoche - to be published on Monday -, said: "What is sure is that any further aid would be much less expansive than whatever help given so far."
