US: Markit PMI unrevised at 53.7 in January

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The final Reading of the US Markit PMI showed the manufacturing sector expanded at a slower pace in January.

The Markit manufacturing PMI dropped to 53.7 in January versus 55.0 the previous month, matching the preliminary estimation. Readings above 50.0 signal expansion in the sector.

ECB's Constancio: Stress test results will be fully disclosed

ECB Vice President Vítor Constancio said on Monday in Frankfurt that the bank stress test program would be “demanding and very rigorous,” and that the asset quality review and stress test results would be fully disclosed in order to sustain the central bank's credibility.
