USD/CNY fix projection: 6.6214 - Nomura

Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 223 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6214 from 6.5991) and 9 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6205. The basket implied change is 10 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6215 from 6.6205)."
