UK manufacturing production at 0.3% in Dec.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) published the UK industrial and manufacturing production data this Friday. 

Manufacturing output arrived at 0.3% m/m in Dec versus a 0.2% gain (revised lower from 0.4%) seen in Nov. Meanwhile, total industrial output contracted by 1.3% in the reported month, as against a growth of 0.4% reported last month. 

On annualized basis, the UK manufacturing production recorded a growth of 1.4% and total industrial output remained flat y-o-y.
