ECB's Vasiliauskas backs market call for rate hike by mid-2019
Lithuania’s central bank Chief and European Central Bank (ECB) policymaker Vitas Vasiliauskas joined his German and Estonian peers in advocating the case for a rate hike in the first half of 2019.

On Monday, the European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council Member and Bundesbank (Buba) Chairman Jens Weidmann said that the expectations for mid-2019 rate hike are "not completely unrealistic".
