NZD/USD broke above 0.90, yearly highs looming

FXStreet (Barcelona) - NZD/USD is on its way higher, reaching 0.8612 high from 0.8571 at the open.

The kiwi is on the way to new yearly highs

The pair broke above 0.90 area targeting the March highs around 0.8630 area. The pair follows the move higher seen in AUD/USD. The Aussie already reached 4-month highs by the moment, and the Kiwi may copy the move. If 0.8630 area is broken, we may see the rise to April, 2013 highs around 0.8675 area. The downside is limited by central pivot point for today at 0.8566.

Today's central pivot point can be found at 0.8566, with support below at 0.8542 (S1), 0.8508 (S2), and 0.8484 (S3) with resistance above at 0.8600 (R1), 0.8624 (R2), and 0.8658 (R3). Hourly Moving Averages are bullish, with the 200SMA at 0.8559 and the daily 20EMA bulllish at 0.8489. Hourly RSI is neutral at 65.
