EUR/USD is sleeping at 1.3780
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/USD fall asleep right at the beginning of the new day around 1.3780; it woke up only to reach session high at 1.3796, but soon went to bed again.
Still under pressure
The pair keeps silence, drifting lower and lower on the back of empty economic calendar. The risk aversion sentiment hasn’t affected the euro yet, as the currency has its own reasons to fall. The series of dovish comments from different EMU officials mean one and the same thing – the monetary authorities don’t like the current level of the euro. Thus, the further sell-off of the pair is not ruled out. If quite strong support level at 1.3780 is broken. If so, the initial target will be at 1.3760 support level.
