EUR futures: scope for further upside

According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors added just 425 contracts to their open interest positions on Tuesday from Monday’s 576,907 contracts. Open interest rose by the fourth session in a row. In the same line, volume increased by almost 18.2K contracts, the first build after four consecutive drops.

EUR/USD looks for extra gains above 1.1700

The upside momentum around EUR/USD is well and sound for the third session in a row today. The squeeze higher has been on the back of rising open interest and somewhat choppy activity in volume, leaving the door open for a continuation of the recovery.
