London Stock Exchange open delayed due to technical issues

The London Stock Exchange witnessed a delayed open on Thursday due to a technical glitch, Reuters reports. 

A spokeswoman for the UK’s main securities exchange said it was working on providing more information about the outage. 

The UK’s benchmark index, the FTSE 100, opened +0.2% higher, despite the delayed start, and now trades modestly flat near 7,720 levels.
