EUR futures: neutral stance unchanged near term

According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors added almost 2K contracts on Thursday from Wednesday’s final 531,554 contracts. On the other hand, volume recorded its second consecutive drop, this time by around 31.2K contracts.

EUR/USD rallies still limited near 1.1630

EUR/USD is recovering from yesterday’s drop and is looking to regain the upper-1.1500s. Thursday’s small build in open interest along with a moderate decrease in volume should leave the consolidative scenario unchanged in the very near term, with gains so far capped around 1.1630.
