EUR futures: consolidative near term

In light of advanced figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, open interest rose for the fifth session in a row, this time by almost 1.8K contracts on Friday from Thursday’s final 532,616 contracts. Volume followed suit, up by nearly 22K contracts.

EUR/USD supported near 1.1600

EUR/USD’s drop and rebound from lows near 1.1600 on Friday was on the back of rising open interest and volume, a bullish signal that could see the recent upside resumed in the short-term horizon.
