UK: Annual CPI rises 1.6% in March, as expected

FXStreet (Łódź) - According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation rose 1.6% in March, following 1.7% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis CPI edged up 0.2% in March, down from 0.5% in February, as expected.

Year-on-year CPI Core rose 1.6% in March, following 1.7% in February.
