UK PM spokesman: Outstanding and significant issues related to Irish backstop

British Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman crossed the wires in the last hour saying that there were outstanding and significant issues related to the Irish backstop. "The work is ongoing to resolve them," the spokesman added.
