EUR/CHF lies low at the opening level of 1.2194
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/CHF is sleeping below 1.2200; no news is good news.
Voodoo dance around 1.2200
EUR/CHF lost unbelievable 8 pips and closed below 1.2200 on Thursday. The day was rather volatile for the cross as weak trade balance data and fascinating IFO numbers pulled it higher, while drag hi comments and anti-risk sentiments allowing the Ukrainian crisis escalation, pushed it lower. Today don’t miss the speech of SNB’s head Jordan. Let’s see if he would be as successful in jawboning as his ECB’s peer. The intraday technical outlook for EUR/CHF is bearish as long as the cross trades below 1.2200, but on a longer-term scale the bulls need to get it above 1.200 to improve its perspectives. The nearest support at 1.2180 is likely to limit the downside.
