German prelim GDP 0.0% vs +0.1% expected

Having contracted in the previous quarter, the German economy is now estimated to have remained flat in the final quarter of 2018, the preliminary report by Destatis showed this Thursday. Meanwhile, the yearly growth rate slowed less than expected to 0.9% as compared to the previous reading of 1.1%.
