Wall Street closes with records on the table
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market rallied on Monday as investors digested well news about deals and agreements in the technology sector that fueled the notion of confidence in the economic growth.
The Dow Jones closed at all-time highs while the S&P 500 performed its biggest single day since April 16, and the Nasdaq logged its best day in nearly 7 months.
The DJIA advanced 112.13 points or 0.68% to finish at 16,695.47; the S&P 500 added 18.17 pts or 0.97% to close the day at 1,896.65; and the Nasdaq Composite rallied 71.99 points or 1.77% to 4,143.86.
