Indonesian President Widodo considering reshuffling cabinet before second term

 In an interview with the Tempo newspaper published on Monday, Indonesian President Joko Widodo noted that he is considering reshuffling his cabinet before he is sworn in for a second five-year term in October, Reuters reports

Widodo added that he would not insist on choosing technocrats over politicians, saying that “in (political) parties, there are many professional members”.

According to quick counts of a sample of votes by pollsters, Widodo seem to have won the election by around 10 percentage points. The official results will be reported after May 22nd.
