According to the latest headlines floating on the wires, via Yonhap - citing a leading South Korean official, North Korea said to have fired an unidentified projectile. 

No additional details were available at this point but further dented the already weaker sentiment and boostedthe Japanese Yen's safe-haven status, dragging the USD/JPY pair to three-month lows.
